Lulu's owner, Mel, started out fifteen years ago working as a corporate graphic designer.
After many years of running in the rat race, she decided to work for herself. She started working contract for major companies and organizations such as Bank of America, The Salvation Army and the State of Georgia.

Designing invitations, note cards and other fun goodies was a little hobby Mel had on the side making them mostly as gifts for friends and family.

A few years ago Mel and her hubby had a little ladybug of their own. After losing numerous sippy cups she realized that she needed to make personalized labels for them. All of her friends started asking for them along with diaper bag tags and other custom goodies....so Mel started Lulu's Labels & Such to meet the demand.

Lulu's Labels & Such got it's start in local children's boutiques and craft shows where the demand became so great that a website was the next logical step.

Where does the name Lulu come from? After finding out she was pregnant with a girl, Mel's mom started calling the little one "Lulu" as a term of affection. When trying to name her company there was no other name to use but "Lulu"...it just fit.
